The scope of this standard is to define an access layer independent protocol for on-board weighing equipment based on the requirements defined in COMMISSION IMPLEMENTING REGULATION (EU) 2019/1213.  

To investigate the requirements for the definition of access layer independent protocols between tractor and trailer fulfilling Regulation 2019/1213 needs and study related additional and optional applications.

Vehicle to Vehicle Communications (V2V) standard for Unmanned Aircraft Systems defines the protocol for exchanging information between the vehicles. The information exchange will facilitate beyond line of sight (BLOS) and beyond radio line of sight (BRLOS) communications. The information exchanged between the aircraft may be for the purpose of command, control, and navigation or for any application specific purpose.

This standard specifies the taxonomy and definitions for connected and automated vehicles.

ISO/TR 13185-1:2012 specifies the communications architecture and generic protocol to provide and maintain ITS services to travellers (including drivers, passengers and pedestrians), using nomadic and portable devices.

Standardization of information, communication and control systems in the field of urban and rural surface transportation, including intermodal and multimodal aspects thereof, traveller information, traffic management, public transport, commercial transport, emergency services and commercial services in the intelligent transport systems (ITS) field.

ISO 13111-1:2017 defines the general information and use cases of the applications based on the personal ITS station to provide and maintain ITS services to travellers including drivers, passengers and pedestrians. The ITS applications supported by ISO 13111-1:2017 include multi-modal transportation information service and multimodal navigation service which are based on personal ITS stations in various application scenarios as follows.

ISO/TR 12859:2009 gives general guidelines to developers of intelligent transport systems (ITS) standards and systems on data privacy aspects and associated legislative requirements for the development and revision of ITS standards and systems.

ISO/TR 11769:2010 reviews the intelligent transport systems (ITS) landscape and the provisions of data retention (DR) to ITS deployments. In particular, it considers the communications access for land mobiles (CALM) environment and the services offered in the IPv6 domain served by CALM and ITS in general.
