Specifies process requirements for the secure development of products used in industry automation and control systems. It defines a secure development life-cycle (SDL) including security requirements definition, secure design, secure implementation (including coding guidelines), verification and validation, defect management, patch management and product end-of-life. These requirements can be applied to new or existing processes for developing, maintaining and retiring hardware, software or firmware for new or existing products. These requirements apply to the developer and maintainer of the product, but not to the user of the product.
Within my WG, we address the gap in the link between digitisation and environmental sustainability, and particularly of products and services. Specifically, digital devices and related elements ranging from materials to e-waste are a significant part of our environmental problem.
In my role as a circular economy expert, I actively contribute to the advancement of Smart Circular Economy Standards for Europe. I ensure that standards align with EU policies like the European Green Deal, advocating for their integration into standardisation efforts.
Interoperability ensures that users can seamlessly navigate and interact within the Metaverse, breaking down barriers between different platforms and ecosystems.
At the high level, ICT standards must establish a framework for ensuring trust, interoperability and interoperation via secure and reliable applications, as well as facilitate the stakeholder ́s engagement.
