Requirements for resource management in cloud-aware telecommunication management systems

Recommendation ITU-T M.3372 introduces a functional framework and functional requirements for resource management in cloud-aware telecommunication management systems. It provides the composition of the functional framework and the functions of each component in the framework. In this Recommendation, the general background and status of cloud computing management are also analysed. The benefit of introducing a functional framework and functional requirements for resource management in cloud-aware telecommunication management systems is also explained.

Guidelines for cloud service customer data security

Recommendation ITU-T X.1641 provides generic security guidelines for the cloud service customer (CSC) data in cloud computing. It analyses the CSC data security lifecycle and proposes security requirements at each stage of the data lifecycle. Furthermore, Recommendation ITU-T X.1641 provides guidelines on when each control should be used for best security practice.

Cloud Computing -Functional architecture for cloud service brokerage

This Recommendation describes functional architecture for cloud service brokerage (CSB). To provide the functional architecture for CSB, the CSB functions based on configurations which have been identified in [ITU-T Y.3506] are introduced. This Recommendation also provides the relationship between the CSB functional architecture and the cloud computing reference architecture in [ITU-T Y.3502].

Cloud computing infrastructure capabilities interoperability testing – part 1: Interoperability testing between the CSC and CSP

Recommendation ITU-T Q.4041.1 specifies the cloud computing infrastructure capabilities type interoperability testing between the CSC and CSP, including interoperability testing of computing services, storage services, network services and related management functions, based on the functional requirements specified in Recommendation ITU-T Y.3513. The test cases of cloud computing infrastructure capabilities type interoperability testing between the CSC and CSP have also been introduced.

Cloud computing – Overview and high-level requirements of distributed cloud

Recommendation ITU-T Y.3508 provides an overview and high-level requirements for distributed cloud. This Recommendation introduces the concept of the distributed cloud and identifies the characteristics of distributed cloud. Based on concept and characteristics, configuration models are illustrated. Deployment considerations of distributed cloud are provided in perspective of infrastructure, network, service, management and security. From use cases, high-level requirements of the distributed cloud are derived.

This Recommendation provides functional framework and requirements for cloud computing maturity. It introduces the overview of cloud computing maturity and identifies the cloud computing maturity model including cloud customer management module, cloud resource management module, cloud service management module and cloud security management module. The purpose of this Recommendation is to describe the overview of multi-cloud and the functional requirements of cloud service partner for supporting multi-cloud by identifying the various use cases related with usage of multi-cloud in terms of cloud service customer, cloud service provider and cloud service partner. It also provides the cloud computing activities to support multi-cloud as sub-role of cloud service partner by identifying the relationships and interactions among cloud service customer, cloud service provider and other cloud service partner.
