In this special report, EURACTIV looks at the European Commission’s Ecodesign for sustainable products Regulation and how it will translate in practice for EU consumers and industry.

This white paper summarizes the main findings from the European research landscape on the vision of the 6G architecture. Such a design vision is derived from around 45 projects starting from October 2020 in all relevant areas of 5G while paving the way towards 6G, within the 5G Public Private-Partnership (5G PPP) in the scope of the European Framework for Research and Innovation.

The release of the Standardisation strategy issued in February 2022, and the creation of the High-Level Forum on European Standardisation have put a major priority on activities and achievements in Standardisation on a European level.

This white paper aims to describe all these business scenarios according to a common methodology (namely Business Model Navigator) in order to identify commonalities / differentiating aspects and support comparative benchmarking analysis. The white paper claims that the preparation of the individual cases is generally understandable for people who are familiar with the fundamental value creation processes in manufacturing industries. The white paper should also illustrate the various ways IoT in manufacturing industries can impact the design of business models. 

In the present White Paper, ETSI offers a summary of societal challenges outlined in the AI Act and details activities in its Technical Committees and Industry Specification Groups which are of relevance to the AI Act and thus can be exploited and driven forward for its implementation. ETSI has conducted a survey across its technical activities and has mapped its technical activities to specific (sub-)Articles of the AI Act that are presented in.
