Description of Activities

In this fellowship, I work on the analysis of the Digital Twins (DT) landscape with a focus on the urban domain. We focused on two priority gaps that, once solved, may enable the modelling of complex DT through the exclusive use of the SAREF suite to enhance the interoperable communication between entities composing a DT; and to enable the modelling of time series to represent how a DT evolves through time.

This proposal will amplify the SAREF impact on the standard ontology's general usability.
It would be possible to empower the EU know-how and leadership in this sector, especially in the ontology-AI-Digital Twins integration.

The increased quality of the outcomes of the industrial sector will contribute to increase the quality of life of citizens.

Impact on society (6th Open Call)

The ACT4ALL activities will work as enablers to create a standard that could have a market impact and be suitable for direct follow-up within ETSI. A novel ACT fully-fledged standard will open the development of a breakthrough global detection and communication network focused on rapid response to bio-eco-emergencies. This will radically change the current services already deployed by the European and National Public Health Institutes to monitor, alert, and advise Political decision-makers, Public Organizations, Environmental Institutes, and citizens by implementing new adaptable and modular automated diagnostic solutions for future pandemics combined with innovative technological solutions based on the concepts of inter-connected IoT.
