The EG will update the terminology list of EG 202 132 to include relevant terms for upcoming device and service features and will extend the list to include the 5 most frequently spoken languages in the EU and EFTA (English, French, German, Italian, Spanish). The scope of the EG will be limited to general and generic terms and will not, in any way, prevent manufacturers and service operators to introduce specific and/or proprietary terms for special or unique features that they wish to offer.

The report will assess the different citizen/consumer needs that smart city standardization in the ICT domain has to address (accessibility, usability, personalisation, interoperability, personal data protection, etc)

The present document will address the objectives asked for in EC Mandate M/473.

Recommendation ITU-T Y.4051 contains vocabulary applied to the work on smart cities and communities (SC&C). The vocabulary terms and definitions in this Recommendation are defined in published ITU‑T Recommendations and Supplements, and standards from other international standards developing organizations (SDOs) such as the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). Additionally, this vocabulary also includes and defines new terms to meet the needs of the work of ITU on SC&C.

This Recommendation contains a maturity model for smart sustainable cities. This maturity model helps identify the goals, levels and key measures that are recommended for cities to effectively examine their current situation and determine critical capabilities needed to progress toward the long-term goal of becoming SSCs.
The Recommendation includes:
- Smart Sustainable City Maturity Model (SSC-MM),
- maturity dimensions in smart sustainable cities,
- maturity levels for smart sustainable cities, and
- mapping of key performance indicators in smart sustainable cities.

Energy Aware Networking adapt performances and power consumption according to traffic load. Actual energy efficiency measurement procedures are unsuitable to determines the equipmentâ€(TM)s ability to adapt performances and power consumption to traffic load needs, hence a novel measurement method is required. This WI will focus on fixed access and transport nodes.

The aim is develop a framework standard that will take into consideration all general aspects, terms and main trends towards energy efficiency/management, including but not limited to:
• New Standards dealing with this scope (e.g. future Standard under development or planned,
• Existing ETSI standard on energy efficiency, monitoring and KPis,
• Existing ITU-T Recommendations: ITU-T L.1310, L.1340 ……
• Other SDOâ€(TM)s deliverable .
The general part of the framework will provide general requirements such as definitions of common understanding of terms, clarification of energy efficiency definition for different types of technologies (e.g. equipment/site/network/service level)…
