Overview of selected stakeholders in the different groups
The StandICT.eu ecosystem is centred around its online platform and community, which builds on previous iterations by enhancing stakeholder engagement and serving as the hub for all core project services. It operates through a structured four-step approach:
- Monitoring standardisation efforts and training experts.
- Supporting and promoting European standardisation professionals.
- Actively engaging stakeholders in the process.
- Serving broader European interests by informing policymakers and fostering synergies across the region.
Each step naturally connects to the next, forming an integrated methodology where stakeholder engagement is central and interdependent with the other components.
Each strand of StandICT.eu’s work is reflective of a continuous attempt to engage as many stakeholders as possible into the project – whether through collaborations, trainings, research work, or the actual financial support offered to fellows working at technical committee level.
As laid out in further details in D5.1, Stakeholder Engagement Mid Term Report and other Deliverables, seven main stakeholder groups are targeted in the project’s engagement.
Core Stakeholder Groups in StandICT.eu
StandICT.eu has identified seven key stakeholder groups that play a crucial role in the project’s ecosystem:
- ICT Standardisation Experts.
- SMEs, and Industry Players.
- Standards Bodies
- Academics, Trainers and Education Experts.
- Policymakers.
- Horizon Europe and Digital Europe Programme Projects involved in ICT Standardisation.
- The General Public.
The StandICT.eu seven key stakeholder groups play a crucial role in the project’s ecosystem. The charts we show on this webpage offer an overview of the various groups and highlight a selection of a few key stakeholders within each category.
As illustrated, StandICT serves as the central hub, actively connecting with all stakeholder groups, fostering collaboration, and facilitating engagement across the ICT standardisation ecosystem. By managing this dynamic community, StandICT creates opportunities and promotes synergies between different actors, for the benefit of the entire network. This interconnected approach ensures a broad and inclusive impact, strengthening the overall standardization landscape.
