The fellowship contributes to new standards in projects of multiple working groups of ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 24 in different phases:
to WG 10, AHG 2 and AHG 3 on Metaverse concepts, architecture, use cases and others
to JWG 12 (with SC 36) on Use case classification for VR/AR/MR based Learning, Education and Training
National alignment is supported via DIN NA 043-01-24 AA “Metaverse and Extended Reality (XR)”.
European alignment is coordinated via StandICT Technical Working Group “Virtual Worlds”.
