Webinar Background 

SEEBLOCKS.eu is hosting a webinar on 10 December 2024 from 12:00 to 13:00 CET entitled, "Ensuring consumer data protection through Blockchain and DLT Standardisation". The webinar seeks to gather a wide range of stakeholders to encourage discussions on the importance of trustworthiness in online services, including the protection of sensitive personal information and the safe handling of European citizens' data to take advantage of this new and emerging digital era. 

SEEBLOCKS.eu and StandICT.eu experts on blockchain and DLT are actively contributing to this landscape of security, privacy and identity standards in the areas of identity management, consumer privacy, and increased product traceability, advancing the efforts to strengthen the connection between the individuals, businesses and public agents serving to strengthen Europe's economy and society. 

Specifically, two StandICT.eu Funded Fellows, Julien Bringer and Christen Grafenauer, will present research on their activities related to blockchain and DLT enabled data protection and security best practices.
