The TWG on Trusted Information aims to:
- Summarise the current understanding of the threats posed by automated fakes and bots, and the range of potential countermeasures to ensure trust in real human beings in the digital space as well as trust in digital information remains possible
- Describe the role of standardisation in those countermeasures
- Summarise available standards and identify standardisation gaps
- Analyse which standardisation organisations, levels and fora might be best placed to address these gaps
