Abstract
This Technical Report introduces three categories of inspections; conversational inspections, visual inspections, and technical inspections. Applying the appropriate category to existing inspections improves communication, safety culture, and risk reduction measures. Although each of the three categories provide a benefit, it is not necessary for all categories to be used.
