In 2020, one trillion microchips were manufactured around the world. This technology has grown as a strategic field for Europe to take leadership in its future digitalization.

Following the European Chips Act, the European Commission has established the need for microchips to be the foundation for emerging technologies to rise in Europe (e.g. highly automated cars, cloud, IoT, connectivity, space, defence and supercomputers). To fully benefit from the future of microchips, European stakeholders need a common approach that enables trust, security, quality and interoperability along the entire value chain.

CEN and CENELEC would like to invite you to a half-day stakeholders’ workshop that will begin a deep dive into the growing landscape of the microchip value chain in Europe. To gain the most out of this workshop, questions will be gathered prior to the event and explore them with today’s leading European actors.
