Intelligent Transport System

My activity is to contribute to prepare the ISO/TC 204/WG 17 Intelligent transport systems document. I led the team that developed the ISO 23795-1:2022 standard. This standard specifies a method for the determination of fuel consumption and resulting CO2 emissions to enable fleet managers to reduce fuel costs and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in a sustainable manner.

My activity aimed to improve prevent injuries and fatalities on roads at ETSI TC ITS. I led the team that prepared  cooperative ITS standards for Vulnerable Road Users (VRU) awareness and protection on the roads, to improve the protection of pedestrian, bicyclist, motorcyclist and animals when travelling on roads. This standard is made of three parts: use cases, architecture and requirements, and VRU awareness service specification. My activities during this fellowship allowed me to revise the three parts of the standard (TS 103 300) to achieve finalization consistency between them.
